NuVu writes risks on behalf of recognized and solvent insurers through binding authorities
NuVu currently underwrites risks with the support of Lloyd’s and Tokio Marine Kiln Insurance Limited, both with an A+ rating (S&P)
More than 325 years of history and proved solvency allows Lloyd’s to be an adequate fit for NuVu. Business at Lloyd’s is brought to specialist syndicates (insurers) via brokers or coverholders, like NuVu which provides local access to the world’s specialist insurance market.
Chain of Security of Lloyd’s entails syndicate level assets, members’ funds at Lloyd’s and central assets.
Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) has backed NuVu, allowing underwriting and claims authority.
Formed in 2014 with the integration of KILN and Tokio Marine Europe, the origin of the group goes back to 1879. “Empowered Expertise” is its motto.
In Marine Cargo, TMK is a world reference, due to the origins in this line of business and it’s wide experience acquired ever since.
