NuVu Underwriting is an MGA (Managing General Agent) founded in 2016 to provide services to brokers and policyholders in Spain and Portugal. We belong to the H.W. Group International Group (1982) with 15 offices in four continents, including London office, providing excellence in insurance services.
An Underwriting Agency is an agent of an insurance company authorized to write insurance policies in the name and on behalf of the company. An MGA is an efficient mean of accessing specialized international markets.

Jaime is from Seville and holds a degree in Business Administration and Management, loves football, cinema and reading. He has been working in the industry since 2014, performing commercial and risk placement tasks in two large international brokers previously.
Additionally, we have a back-office team that includes the administration and accounting department as well as the IT department.

After several years of exhaustive work in data collection, risk segmentation and thanks among other things, to Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, Data Analytics or Know your Customer (KYC), at NuVu we have a comprehensive platform developed internally that allows us to adapt pricing for any given risk, thus reducing the asymmetry of information.
This impacts the entire life cycle of our products by improving the quotation and document issuance processes, involving other departments like claims management or accounting, giving us the ability to respond to our insurance brokers within 24 hours through direct communication with the underwriting team.
At NuVu, our goal is to achieve excellence in providing insurance services, and we do this through fast, agile and efficient claims processing. We have a specialized team with extensive experience in the insurance sector, and one of our priorities is the reduction of paperwork.
Our response to a notification of a new file is very agile, designating, in the case of goods transport policies, a surveyor quickly if necessary. As for the firms we use, we collaborate with top-level companies, as well in recoveries management.
